παρ-επί-δημος, -ον

sojourning in a strange place; as subst., ὁ π., a sojourner: of Christians, 1 Peter 1:1; ξένοι καὶ π., Hebrews 11:13; πάροικοι καὶ π., 1 Peter 2:11 (see Deiss., BS, 149).
