ὀρθρίζω

(ὄρθρος), [in LXX chiefly for שָׁכַם hi., Genesis 19:2, al.; also for שָׁחַר pi., Psalm 63:1, al., etc. ;]

= cl. poët., ὀρθρεύω, to rise early: before πρός, with accusative of person(s) (as Ps, l.with, al.), Luke 21:38 (see Thumb, Hellen., 123).
