ὁμοιόω, -ῶ
(ὅμοιος), [in LXX chiefly for דָּמָה ;]
1. to make like, with genitive and dative; pass., to be made or become like: Matthew 6:8; 13:24; 18:23; 22:2; 25:1, Acts 14:11, Hebrews 2:17; before ὡς (cf. Ezekiel 32:2, Heb.), Romans 9:29.
2. to liken, compare: with dative, accusative, Matthew 11:16, Luke 7:31; 13:18, 20; πῶς όμοιώσωμεν, Mark 4:30; pass., Matthew 7:24, 26 (cf. ἀφ-ομοιόω).
