(κοῖλος, hollow), [in LXX chiefly for בֶּטֶן, מֵעֶה, קֶרֶב, Deuteronomy 7:13, 2 Samuel 7:12, Genesis 41:21, al.; also (Job 3:11; 10:18; 31:15; 38:8) for רֶחֶם ;]
1. the belly (stomach or intestines or both): Matthew 12:40; 15:17, Mark 7:19, Luke 15:16, Romans 16:18, 1 Corinthians 6:13, Philippians 3:19, Revelation 10:9-10.
