κεφαλιόω (Rec. -αιόω, [so in LXX: Sir.32.8 *]), -ῶ

(κεφάλιον, dimin. of κεφαλή, in late writers)

1. (-αιόω) to sum up (Thuc., al.).

2. (In NT, only) to wound on the head: Mark 12:4.
