Definition

ἄμαχος, -ον

(μάχη);

1. invincible (frequently in cl.).

2. abstaining from fighting, non-combatant (Xen.). Metaphorical (cf. MM, VGT, see word), not contentious: 1 Timothy 3:3, Titus 3:2.
