κατ-αρτίζω

[in LXX chiefly in Ps (Psalm 8:2 al.; כּוּן, etc.) and Ezra (כְּלַל) ;]

to render ἄρτιος, i.e. fit, complete;

(a) to mend, repair: Matthew 4:21, Mark 1:19;

(b) to furnish completely, complete, equip, prepare: pass., Luke 6:40, Romans 9:22, Hebrews 11:3; mid., Matthew 21:16 (LXX), Hebrews 10:5 (LXX);

(with) in ethical sense, to prepare, complete, perfect: Galatians 6:1 (EV, restore), 1 Peter 5:10; pass., 1 Corinthians 1:10 (Field, Notes, 167), 2 Corinthians 13:11, Hebrews 13:21 (cf. προ-καταρτίζω).
