1. to gather together: Matthew 23:37; 24:31, Mark 13:27, Luke 13:34; pass., Mark 1:33, Luke 12:1; 17:37, (cf. Psalm 102:23; 106:47, 2Ma.1.27, al.).
2. to gather together against (Micah 4:11, Zechariah 12:3, 1Ma.3.58, al.).
