ἐξ-ουθενέω, -ῶ

to set at nought, despise utterly, treat with contempt: with accusative of person(s), Luke 18:9; 23:11, Romans 14:3, 10, 1 Corinthians 16:11; with accusative of thing(s), Galatians 4:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:20; pass., of persons: Mark 9:12 (T, -όω), 1 Corinthians 6:4; of things λίθος, Acts 4:11 (LXX ἀπεδοκίμασαν); λόγος, 2 Corinthians 10:10; τὰ ἐξουθενημένα, 1 Corinthians 1:28.
