ἔνδοξος, -ον
(δόξα [in LXX for כָּבַד, etc. ;]
1. held in honour, of high repute: 1 Corinthians 4:10.
2. glorious, splendid: of deeds, τά ἔ., Luke 13:17; of clothing, Luke 7:25. Metaphorical, ἐκκλησία, Ephesians 5:27 (cf. παράδοξος).
