  39. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.
  40. “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel left her.
  41. He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.” And when the people heard this, they said, “May such a thing never happen!”
  42. “Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”
